The Multistem Persian Ironwood is a multi-stemmed specimen of Parrotia persica, grown with several trunks rising from the base to create a broad, spreading canopy. This is one of the most visually dramatic multistem trees available, offering genuine four-season interest.

In spring, the foliage emerges with warm coppery-bronze tones. Through summer, the leaves mature to a rich, glossy green. Autumn brings an extraordinary colour display progressing from golden-yellow through fiery orange and crimson to deep burgundy-purple. In late winter, clusters of small, spidery red flowers appear on bare branches.

The multiple stems develop beautiful mottled, flaking bark with age, revealing patches of green, grey, and cream. Parrotia persica prefers well-drained, lime-free soil and performs best in full sun.
